Anyone have thoughts on GPS units. I bought a Garmin eTrex Vista HCx unit and I could not get it to do the things pictured on the box untill I bought three more MapSource programs and three memory cards. The maps and memory cards combined cost more than the unit. I am brand new to all of this and I am not sure how to use the maps to plan trips and set points. One thing the sales person told me is that you need to switch out individule memory cards if you are doing 3 things in the same area (eg Road Trip mapping, TOPO for 4x4 riding, and inland lakes for fishing.) I would like to hear what others have done and where I can get free down loads of Waypoints for some of the rides in your area.

I just finished installing a set of Maxxis Bighorn tires on ITP 14" Alloy 108 Machined Wheels and what a difference it made over the stock Goodyear tires.  I am now able to get up to 50 MPH on the paved road with my new muffler and tires. The only trouble I have is that at about 47MPH it starts backfiring. I will try a bigger carb jet and hopefully that will take care of the problem. I would highly reccoment the Bighorn to all that ride in rough country with lots of rocks. Wally from Adams County Ohio.

I had a lot of trouble with plastic so my son-in-law took my prowler to the shop and we prefabed some metal rear fenders and welded them to the metal fender suports on the dump bed. Wally Jones - ADAMS COUNTY OH.
