With all due respect, State Farm uses less alternative (read used, aftermarket, reconditioned, etc.) than any other carrier I've worked with in 14 years.  I process about 100 insurance repair claims a month and work with them all.  I'm not bad mouthing anyone, just going with experience.  I don't work for them, and in the shop where I work, I'm not even assigned to them - another estimator here handles all their repair claims.  The facts sir, just reporting the facts.  And you're probably right on premiums - I'm sure they aren't the cheapest - but part of the reason is how they pay out on claims.  Good luck to ya' though ... whoever you're with.  Hopefully the majority of us will never have to test the limits of out policies.

I have my RZR insured thru State Farm ... approx $225/year for comp & coll w/$250 deductible.  Somthing to keep in mind is in addition to your premium is how the particular insurance company handles claims.  With 14 years of working in the auto collision repair industry I can tell you it's tuff to beat State Farm.
