#1 Re: Where to Ride? » Armagossa NV. » 2008-04-23 02:44:42

Armagossa has some good dunes. They are taller then Dumont, and steeper. China wall is still the steepest. White dunes, Plenty of spots to park, and not very busy on Holiday weekends. Now remember it's in NV. the Devils Playground so check for weather it does get HOT HOT HOT!

#2 Re: Where to Ride? » What about Lake Powel » 2008-04-23 02:40:53

What about Lake Powell. My dad has a house boat there. So we take our Quads out and ride on the beach. Services are close, and the water is great. We didn't pay any fee's. This is a great place for dual purpose, Riding and Swimming. The last time we took the Ranger and Pulled My Brother and son  on their Wake boards from shore!

Corral is a blast, it has dune trails that go into the trees. I suggest you run your paddles the sand is so soft it's easy to get stuck. Anyone with pics? It keeps saying my pics have to much memory.

#4 Re: Where to Ride? » only place to ride » 2008-04-23 02:27:16

There isn't a place better for dunin then Glamis. 50miles by 50miles of pure sand. we went for easter weekend (sorry no pics) I think there was about 150,000 people and we had no problems finding a spot (about 5acres) all to ourselves. we road all day on fresh sand! Dumont sucks compared to Glamis!

We need some pics. How do you like the Prowler over the Rhino, or Ranger? lol

#9 Re: Where to Ride? » Logandale, Nevada ATV Trail System » 2008-04-23 02:14:04

Logandale Sucks, Trails Aren't Posted, No Services (Cell Phone), Hot As Hell, Dude Your Crazy.  I live here and I don't ride there anymore. Every time I go someone steals my 111 octane Race Gas out of the bed of my truck while I'm riding.  Don't forget in 3hr.s you've been on every trail. The dirt road coming in is rutted out the whole way, with holes big enough to hide a KEG. So if you want a good riding experience in southern NV. go to Nellis Sand Dunes.

Go to Duck Creek Village, in the Village there is a Gas Station with a Polaris Dealer inside. Go to the counter and ask for a trail map they are about $2.98. I own 5 acres up there and there is 2500 miles of trails we take a Ranger out with no problems. Some Trails say no sxs but there are opening around those gate so a big sxs can still ride. I think there is only 2 of the 150 trails like that. If we could tie the tree huggers to the trees we wouldn't have these problems!

That looks sick I'm wondering what engine this would bolt up to?  What else I will need to make this work, and can you get it, or point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Chris
