#1 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » Yamaha Rhino Rollover » 2008-09-03 05:02:17

Like all the others have said, we are really sorry for your loss. But i also agree with all the others that Yamaha should NOT be held liable for the roll overs. I have rolled mine once and almost one other time. both times was because of doing something the rhino was not intended to do. like power sliding on wet grass... with low tire pressure.. not a good idea...

When are we as people going to start taking responsibilty for ourselves instead of blaming someone else.... like i always heard and repeated... guns dont kill anyone, someone has to load it and pull the trigger.... and no we did not make you smoke, that was your decision. and we did not make you drink that beer either...

if someone gets run over with a car on the sidewalk by a normal age perfect driver, do we sue the car manafacture becasue it was able to drive over a person????

I went with the High Lifter 2 inch lift as it did not require cutting off the lower shock mount. you only have to grind off a washer on the lower mount to aquire room for the cv boot not to rub. gets my vote for a slight lift kit that is easy to install and can be taken off just as easy.

Fuel filter #1 then maybe pump or CDI if you have one.

i just installed the High Lifter 2 inch lift and it was quick and seems to work well.

Ranger does probaly have better pulling power but do you want to go that wide? for the narrower thought i would go with the rhino. there are lots of aftermarket suppliers to get anything you think you want for the rhino. the new Kaw Teryx seems to be ok. just with my past KAW experence, they love spark plugs.

but you really need to go out and drive all of them you are considering. everyone has diffrent wants/likes for each machine.
