thanks again, there is 7.5% sales tax, the base price to get that out the door at $10600 is around $7500 i am thinking rhino is the way i am going to go.
Thanks guys for all the great info, i agree with all said about the teryx. the BIGGEST problem with the teryx is that it is too tall for my toy hauler door stock.
I live in vegas so in the winter time it will be desert trails, some dunes but not real hard core. summers will be higher elevation mountain trails to beat the vegas heat. mostly looking for something that we can trail ride and explore with while out camping. don't plan on doing any major upgrades (yea I said that about every Harley I've owned too!) I have a dealer that is offering me an 08 rhino not se, out the door tax, license, fees, for $10,600 is that a good deal?
well i knew that post would bring you all out of the wood work, i feel much better now! Badly, why the Teryx? Think I have narrowed it down to either that or the Rhino. i think if the teryx had FI it would be a no brainer but it is a little larger/heavier/taller than the Yamaha. the yamaha seems to have a lower center of gravity and I feel like i am sitting in it rather than on it.
wow, not even a welcome? well i guess it is back to the harley forum you people are no help and not even friendly
Hello everyone, I am a 50 yr old male and have been away from off-road for awhile. in my younger years i had dirt bikes and most recently about 10 years ago I had sport ATVs. I am now looking to return to the off-road world in the form of a UTV side by side. i have been doing tons of research but am still confused. anyone who wants to wade in with the pros and cons of each let me know i am open to all opinions.
Thanks
Chuck
