Update: Went to local shop (Sloan's in Murfreesboro, TN), and once again, could not be more pleased. They did not try WHATSOEVER to sell me on service, etc. I bought an oil change kit (part #2202166) which included 2 quarts of oil and a new oil filter. My son Connor - 4 yrs. old - was my helper. While trying to explain to him what the drain plug was for, he told me that "it was so we could let the OLD oil out and put the new oil in". Sorry for the tangent, but couldn't believe what I heard. The air filter really isn't that bad (there was about 1/3 quart of oil in the air box). The filter itself had some oil on it here and there, but was white as snow. I've ordered a new sock (pre-filter) and filter, which will be here on Monday. Otherwise, I think I'm good to go. My family and I will be riding this weekend. Thanks.
As a side note, they had a Polaris Versa Winch - Portable Recovery System on sale from over $400 MSRP to $250. It was EXACTLY what I needed on Sunday. A front mounted winch would not have helped in my situation. This portable system will enable me to strap the winch (rated at 1500 lbs.) to a tree and pull the utv back over fairly easily. As a bonus, it includes jumpers and a 12 volt outlet plus a light. Not too bad.

Thanks Dale,
Talked with my local shop today (they had basically the same recommendations as you) and I'm going to check it out over the next couple of days. Props to my local shop; they've been great so far - no pressure to have them service, but there if I need them. When I check the oil level, plugs, filters (oil/air) etc. I'll get back. Approximately 1/2 to 1/3 a tank of fuel drained out. Thanks again.

Yesterday I got caught sideways on a hill against a fallen tree. My '09 RZR tipped over. Unfortunately, b/c of the terrain it took us about 3 hours to get it back upright. It started right back up, put it on the trailer, no problem. However, this morning it is making a funny sound when starting and doesn't really want to start. Also noticed some oil, or other lubricant, leaking from somewhere around the airbox. Any suggestions or should I just take it in to my local shop? Thanks.
