Thank you again for your quick response.
I will need the test harness regardless whether or not I need a new tps or to reset the voltage. I can buy kent-moore products at a discount.
I misunderstood the special driver. I haven't looked at that screw, but am quite adept at making tools. If not, hello Polaris I guess.
Doing some additional research today, the Polaris part no. 2201519 is a kit that that includes the test harness plus a regulator. This is around $50 retail.
Nice looking truck, toy hauler, and toys. I am looking myself for a toy hauler. The problem I have found so far is the size of my Polaris Ranger XP. The height and width cause some problems with most of the haulers I have looked at. Been using my crewcab and open trailer.
Thanks again.
Thanks RANGERDALEXP. Few questions for clarification.
1. Is my low end stumble a voltage setting problem, or a faulty tps sensor?
2. Is what your are calling the "special driver" the test harness that includes a place to hook up a 9 volt battery?
3. Can the driver/test harness be purchased from Polaris?
4. I know what the ECU is, but what is the SP ECU and why did you change yours? Do you recommend a change for me?
[font=Arial:3a130d1073] [/font:3a130d1073] Have an '06 Ranger XP 700 EFI with 115 hours. Recently it began to stumble with very light throttle pedal off idle. No problem at higher speeds, just very low speeds. I suspect tps, but in order to check it, book says technician needs special test harness with 9 volt battery. Anyone run into this before? Anyone made the test harness?
