Mine has the bladder going up behind the passenger seat. I have 2 on order and i'm going to T those together to give more room for the heat to expand. I tried just removing it and added a fuel filter but it filled it with gear oil the first trip out and overflowed. Wonder how close the exhaust comes to the diff on the 1000's? The rear brake appears to cause drag with one of the pads even when you have the parking brake adjusted all the way out. That and the closeness of the exhaust are probably what causes all the heat.

How close does the exhaust come to the diff? It's very close on the 650 and I think this is part of the problem, I hope anyway. I've wrapped it with header wrap and am in the process of making a heat shield. I'll give em a try this weekend.

My prowler had a new set on when I bought it. (2) 30/10/14 and (2) 30/12/14 I don't mud much and it won't fit on my trailer with them mounted. Asking $475 or trade for smaller 14'' radials in new condition + cash. Or trade for winch + cash or a rear seat to put in the bed of my Prowler. Let me know what you got or make me an offer !!
