I was told by my local dealer that they were not avalible to the public. You have to be a Arctic Cat Mechanic to have access to the shop manual. They want your money. LOL
Engine oil
Oil filters
Tie rod ends
Belts
Any cheaper stuff out thier other than the Arctic Cat brand that would work. First time Prowler owner. Thanks Wayne
I was looking for one about 2 weeks ago. My KTM dealer sells Arctic Cat too. They had a 2007 700 used stocker going for 7500.I decided if I'm going to spend this kind of money I better get what I want instead of settling for a 700.I tighten my belt and bought the 09 Arctic Cat Prowler XTZ 1000.I'm not lacking power now. That thing is awesome.I think Arctic Cat has steped it up for 09.As for that being a good price I guess it depends on what kind of shape it is in,low hours, well taken care of,ect. Good Luck
Welcome Wayne! Let us know how you are liking all that power
The frigin power is awesome.Mined you I've only had it in 2-wheeled drive and it has 8 miles on it.So much for breaking it in :rolleyes:Its hunkers down from a dead stop to 70 in heartbeat.I was testing it out on the gravel road in front of my house because my track out back is to muddy(water logged).I hit some breaking bumps and pot holes in the road doing about 60.You couldn't feel anything.Smoooooth.If this thing is choked up from EPA stuff.Look out when its uncorked. This thing is a beast !
Thanks guys.I'm gonna leave her stock for awhile untill work picks up here.Construction in the midwest sucks right now.The first thing I'm going to do is put some kind of half doors on.You feel like your going to fall out if you get to radical. As for Moab that would be cool but not this year. Thanks for asking though.
