Dear Fellow Side-x-Side Enthusiasts,

Hi. My name is CJ Rena Johnson. Some of you already know me and have been helping in countless ways to get the “OHV Tour for a Cure” up and running.

I appreciate all the feedback and support I have. So far, the Tour itself has been very successful in a lot of ways but an almost complete failure in others.

We started this tour, with the backing and support of Polaris Industries, as a way to raise positive awareness about the off-road community and the people involved in it. There is so much negative publicity about ATVs and the ones who ride them, that we decided to change all of that and let the nation know that ATVers are in general good, caring people that do a lot of good in the world. Raising money for Cancer Research was one of the best possible ways to do that.

While we have had a good deal of people show interest in the Tour, come to meet us at different events and even some who have taken part in the tour itself, there has been on astonishing amount of apathy where the charities are concerned. I, and everyone involved in this endeavor, are very disheartened by the pure lack of support we have had for the charities.

We still have a chance to work together to make this miracle happen, for all of us. I am asking each of you to take just a moment and help by doing your part.

I know times are tough, but for some folks who are facing all the same struggles we all are, its even tougher because they have to add fighting for their life to the top of that list.
