Hey, I'm just curious if there are any Trooper owners on this board.  The only site I've found with a large following of Trooper owners is "riding arizona" but I'd really like to talk to people that are more local to CA than that.

Any chance of a Joyner section popping up in the future?  I know there is a strong bias against them in some circles but my 1100cc fuel injected 4wd WITH lockers has been a great buggy for me with no problems to speak of. Then again, it's maintained properly and then some and has been upgraded a bit to prevent breakdown.

What do you say???

I am a trooper owner .Most troopers have been up graded.Check to see if your rear drivs shaft is a c/v unit. This was a bige improvement. Also make sure your diff's are not to full.It easy to check just below the fill plug is and allen bolt take out and let out difff fluid this is the full point .Not to fill plug like cars are.Thear are a lot of joyners out thear more than 6000.Thats a lot.If you need any help let me know.

Hey everyone, I have read most of your posts but I still have some questions about the Trooper T2. I know that I will have to do some work eventually to any toy that I buy and I don't have any problem with that. My main concern is how well it will do for a beginner driver. I want to buy a T2 for my Wife. I need something reliable and safe for her and my 2yr old Daughter to follow me around the desert on my quad. I was looking at the Rhino, but she wants something more like a buggy. My Uncle bought a Joyner Sand Viper 650cc and she likes it, but it doesn't have enough power.

Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

BTW I am a San Diego Native. I was planning on going to Buggy-World in Santee in the next couple of weeks to test one out. They have a $750 off coupon for any new buggy.

Also, Does anyone know if they can be street legal in San Diego, CA?

You want to make it real nice for her put the powersteering unit on it for her I got one from Silverbulletmotorsports.net out of Yuma it increased the complete feel & ride of my trooper. really easy to install myself too. (and I am no pro mechanic)

super reliable david your wife will love driving it SXSwranglers wife will not even let him drive his when she goes out. LOL Very few problems with them and I can get you any parts you need for it Joyner is coming back the question is time. If you want something now for the summer email me joyridejjj@yahoo.com if you want to place an order and hope for a couple of months call everywhere else. How old is your daughter? 2? I think you have a couple of years before you have to be buying her a 650 or anything elsebut when you do I can help you with that too.

Who is the engine built by for the joyner trooper T2?

Chery I believe. They are Chinese but real similar to Toyota's engines very reliable from what I have found. Parts are a little hard to find but, this guy silverbulletmotorsports.net seems to have a pretty good selection of parts and a lot of connections for what he doesn't have. He is on here as silverbullet nutcase. LOL

You just keep laughing SXSW wait untill you need some more parts. Now who's LOL
