Hey all,

Newbie here.  Just picked up an 04 Ranger 500.  Runs great, factory maintained, its never really been worked too hard.  The guy I bought it from put 14" ITPs on it with Terracross tires.  I'm new to this UTV world so I'm not sure what to expect as far as top speed, but I noticed the Ranger bouncing off the rev limiter at about 36mph (GPS speed.)  I know this is a carbureted 500 that is 6 years old, but I was wondering if changing the clutching or gearing in it should have been done when putting on the bigger tires and wheels.   I'm not looking to do any heavy work with it myself.  Just bought it to run around some new property I bought in northern MI and haul a bit of firewood.  Just trying to make sure its running properly.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
