No I went broke building it. But its gonna run dam good!
This particular part "HIT clutch" has nothing to do with the weights in the primary sheave. Yes the "Overdrive weights" are not bad at all. This is an internal "Wet" clutch that replaces your stock unit entirely, not just springs. Im just trying to warn potential buyers of the defective product, which has failed in more than one rhino. My rhino suffered terrible damage. Others have had theirs fail while idling so damage was minimal. Keep in mind this product is defective, and DR Pulley will do nothing to cover damages. They simply hide in another country.
[b]Do yourself a favor and stay away from this product!
After about 7 minutes of use the clutch completely disentegrated. Easily half a million pieces of shattered clutch. The clutch shoe lining turned to dust entirely, there was not one visible piece left. Every clutch shoe broke into many pieces. All eight springs broke into hundreds of pieces. The pivot pins for the clutch shoes all broke off. All of the C Clips used to retain backing plates and such were nothing more than shards of metal.
Spring parts, C Clips shards, broken clutch arm pieces, and carnage from the clutch bell/cases all migrated throughout the crankcase/transmission/stator and head.
Im sure you would ask how this went un noticed for those few minutes that the clutch was coming apart. Unfortunately the defective clutch wedged itself between the clutchbell and the clutch center piece so the the rhino continued to drive forward without any signs of failure until I stopped momentarily. Only then was there an obvious noise from the clutch area and yes the engine was shut down the instant an unfamiliar noise was heard. This is the worst product failure I have ever witnessed, clearly a poorly designed product with inferior materials used. Thousands of dollars of damage to a fresh 686/cp/racers edge motor.
This is not the only failure of this product Im sure others will share their experience. Dr. Pulley has changed his e-mail address, refuses to offer any re embursement of any kind for the extensive damages his defective product caused. Yes he was well aware that the clutch would be installed in a modified engine.
My Recommendation to anyone considering this product is absolutely dont use it under any circumstances. Even a claimed "re designed" unit from Dr Pulley is a disaster waiting to happen, and clearly Dr Pulley will turn their back on resulting damages.
