Those engines run forever as long as you change the oil regularly and the air filter.Check and make sure it goes in and out of 4 wheel drive.Check the hi-lo range and the differential lock.If it all works ,I would buy it.It is powered off a drive belt. They are pretty hard to abuse as RPM`s are so low.You will have to look to see if you can attach the diesel, but I doubt it.

You should look at an older Kawasaki Mule. They are pretty much bullet proof and can only go 25MPH.My grand kids have been driving mine since they are about 8 years old.How ever it is not a Toy and kids need to be supervised when using them or any motorized 4 wheeler!!!!

By the way Polaris TPS are made by GM.If you buy at a GM dealer or maybe NAPA,you will save a lot of money.

It is most likely made by Delphi but I have no idea on what car or truck it came from. Almost all the connectors on a Polaris are made from Delphi and they have a good catalog to look things up for them but the automotive component side of Delphi trying to identify parts is not that well done on there site. I have requested a catalog but we will see how that goes. I have not been able to find anywhere on there site to order certain parts catalogs and there online system requires make and model the part comes from which is useless in trying to match up parts through pictures or schematics :!:  :x

i used to know the part no.I will see if I can find where I wrote it down.

Thanks, for the info.
Yea I called my nearest sevice place and they said they had never heard of it. So I was trying to do a little investigation of my own. One other thing I notice is the RPMs on the tach are real speratic at this time to. Like it's not reading correctly.  Which may support your statement.
Anyway I will have it checked, hate to be stranded.....
Thanks, again.

Could be your TPS is no good.Sounds more like that than your ECM.Do your self a favor if you want to do your own wrenching and buy a Service manual.
