I have an '05 Ranger XP.  Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this year? ......., then go out.  Replugged the parking brake sensor the old way, but the lights still only flash on.

The manual you have must be for a 2007 or latter model because the instrument cluster was not available on the 2005 or 2006 models and only on the 2007 models and up. Also the ECU was changed after 2006. I have the manual for it but the fold out pages are way to big to scan and very involved. Also the only way to get any specific item to you I would have to e-mail it to you. I hope it is only the fusible link that has gone out because it is very possible that you may have popped the ECU that cost well over $200 and they have been known to have issues with them......

Hi all.  I'm new utv's and this forum so.....
I'm resurrecting this thread in hope of obtaining the wiring diagram for a 2006 Ranger 700 XP.  I bought a '2005-2007' repair manual that has a very clear wiring diagram for a 2007.   What I'm looking for is specifically a look at the two connectors attached to the electronic control unit (ECU) under the hood to figure out where a violet wire attaches to.  I believe it's a supposed to connect the ECU to control a back-up beeper but don't know which of the two connectors it goes to or which open pins in each connecter it goes to.  Note I don't intend to hook up a beeper I just want to know where this loose wire goes.
