I recently purchased an 04 Rhino 660. The starter begins turning the engine, but it abruptly stops for maybe a second them resumes turning the engine. I've replaced the battery and the starter looks new. I'm new to Rhinos and don't know if this is normal.

Also, I had planned to use the both on and off-road. It seems that there is no differential action in the rear end. It's really hard to turn on pavement, especially when backing up. I don't know if that is normal, or if there's a problem.

I'd appreciate any help.
