I recently purchased a 2006 Rhino. She runs great and have been elated with the purchase other than It's caught on fire twice now. It's cost me a coffee and some water to put it out and want to figure out what I can do to prevent this from happening again before it costs me a beer or something more important.
I use it as a work machine and drive it through heavy brush and cattails. The brush gets caught up underneath the skid plate and rests against the muffler and eventually catches on fire. What are my options to prevent this or are there covers for the muffler or a different kind of muffler that is insulated and doesn't run as hot?
Please help!
Have a good day, Pez
