I have had great results with the NMOTION yamaha pipe. It is a True Dual exhuast, carbon fiber and they are seeing about a 4-5 HP gain with just the pipe. It is offered for the 04-07 and also the 08, my 07 is getting about 59 MPH with just pipe, cdi, and clutch sheave.

I am running a trinity clutch sheave, a dynatec cdi ,a yoshimura dual exhaust, and a dynajet. I have huge bottomend and great top speed. I am not saying this is the only way to go but it worked for me .
.
Are you running the Dyna-Jet kit or just jets??? I was looking into the kit for ease of jetting, but someone said they had trouble with the kit in rough riding.

I ended up going with the Yoshimura RS-5 slip on exhaust, and porting the stock header. The Rhino runs fantastic, seems to definitely have more get up and go, and isn't too excessively loud (it passes the 96 dB sound test). And it only cost $300, instead of a months pay like some of the dual systems do.

In the ten months since I originally posted on this thread we have put about 400 miles on the Rhino. The Yoshimura RS-5 slip on needs repacked at this point, and noise levels are about double what they were to begin with. That is something to think about when purchasing a new exhaust, ... how often maintenance repacking is going to be needed. The FMF powerline exhaust does not need repacking, so that would be a good choice if you feel like spending $800 on an exhaust. I just ordered the Gibson exhaust system, which includes a complete stainless steel header and stainless steel single silencer that uses mechanical baffles instead of packing. It cost half as much ($400), and never needs repacking. It is also supposed to be within 3 dB of stock sound levels. I should have it ready to install this weekend.

Exhausted at studying exhausts! :? which one is going to give me the least grief in the long run, low noise and some possible performance gain? My stock is cracked at the head of the muffler.

Ryan, make sure and check out the Alba kit. This is one I was considering because I read somewhere it was very close to stock quiet... you will need to verify that.

I just wonder about the gain for a pipe that is 400 more than a slip on or stock replacement. :?

Ron Woods pipe or Alba? I like both systems but never used spring clip design.
Is there any fear of having the springs break under vibration from the rhino vs a atv?
Who has the best known hp gain on all there exhaust applications?

I think when comes to exhaust you get what you pay for, I have a set of dragon fire duals on one of my rhinos {very loud} and on the other I have a set of two brothers {not as loud} both gave me huge gains the dragon fire comes with quite cores and a super trap caps makes it not as loud. The two brothers come with sparkies in them and you also can order quite cores for them for like 50bucks, my brother also runs the two bro on his 700 and realy likes them. I think if you want big power gains you need to get the duals and let that engine breath.

I went with the Gibson setup off EBay. I have been pleased with it and was more worried about the noise. The repacking issue kept me away from those that compared more to atv/mx exhausts.
