Just bought a used 06 with a Fireball kit. One of the tie rods is stripped and popped out. Does anyone know if I can use another long travel kit tie rod? or does it have to be Fireball? Leaving for dunes today

Sounds like good tips! It does have an aftermarket Fireball Long travel kit installed professionally
1300 miles does not appear to be a problem as long it has been properly maintained?

#9 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » How many miles on your Rhino???? » 2008-07-01 22:14:49

Looking at used 06 with 1300 miles. Looks to be well maintained. Just curious to see how many miles you guys have on yours???

It is a 06 has  200 hours and 1300 miles of sand/dunes usage. What are some things to look at and ensure it has not been beaten up too badly

I ahve spoke to a few people about this and keep getting different answers from all. What is the real purpose?
Primarily for wheelbase width?
Does it provide a smoother ride?

#12 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » Things you can do to add stability to RZR? » 2008-06-28 15:15:42

I am new to forum, ready to buy a RZR.  The RZR seems to have lowest center of gravity of all UTV's. What can you do make them more stable?  I have a bunch of questions. Are spacers helpful for increasing wheel stance?

#13 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » Break in hours/miles » 2008-06-28 15:00:32

Just bought a  TRX250 and CRF250x and I was told to get it good and hot no more than 30 minutes, let it cool, run it 45 minutes heat it up again.
Break in, sure is different from the old days?

Hey Now, Joseph here, live in So Cal. Ride a RM250x and a TRX450. Just spent a week in Pismo Dunes and friend brought  a Artic Cat. I had so much fun running that thing up and down the dunes I am shopping today for a new toy.  Besides I think I have the wife sold on the purchase, because she thinks it will be hers.
