And that's a wrap for now, until she decides to add more equipment
We took our RZR's out for their first trip. We broke them in good, 128 miles in one day from Parker to Lake Havasu and back. Not too bad for her first time behind the wheel of a Side by Side. The girl tore it up.
Now she wants to add a head unit. Pics up soon.
Since she demanded a 12 inch sub I had her make her own mdf speaker ring jig up the enclosure for the 12". She did so good, I had her weld in the amp rack and lay the glass for the iPod mount.
Relocated factory battery. Yellow Top Optima in RPM box. The complete system is only ran off the Optima, not tapped in to the factory charging system. Optima will be charged at camp when needed.
Charging posts, no need to pull seat. It leaves next week for cage, seats, and 5 pt harnesses.
4g ran through liquitight, secured to frame with adel clamps and pop rivets. Not going anywhere.
This is my bud Andrea's '09 Polaris RZR-S she picked up a couple weeks ago from Art at Montclair Yamaha. If any one is looking in to buying a new toy, see Art, he's the man fo sho!!
This RZR will be used at Glamis Sand Dunes and at Parker AZ. It will not be going through rivers or streams.

Andrea's request-4 coaxils, and a 12" I have sub enclosures done for a 10" She said "10's are for little boys, I want a 12" and she wanted all speakers in the cab
Yes, I could make it out of 1/2" if someone would like.
That is a Awesome setup. How does it sound over the engine noise and speakers placed under the dash? You should market the whole setup! I am sure you csn make some nice coin. I have to agree it is the nicest setup I have seen.
No issue with speaker placement. It over comes the engine noise no problem. This system is loud and clear.
Hey, is the a premade enclosure or did you build that? I would like to do that same exact thing for a sub.
Man, your install looks real clean, very impressive
I did all the work myself. I made the speaker pods, sub box, iPod mount, and willing to do more

man that looks good. what is the part number on the radio cover
Not sure on the part number for the marine head unit cover. It's from Metra Electronics. They make a white and black one. The one I used is the black.
Nice work! Are you selling any of the fab parts?

3/4" MDF (medium density fibreboard) then it's sprayed with Dupli-color Truyck Bed Coating.
Here's a sub box I built for a friend for his RZR. He wanted a box that was easy to install and he didn't want to modify his RZR to much to install it. It only required drilling 2 holes in the firewall.
Here's what I came up with for a sub box for the Teryx. No welding needed to mount. I drilled 3 holes in existing brackets on the Teryx and made a couple of brackets out of aluminum angle and some flat stock steel. It's made out of 3/4" MDF then sprayed with truck bed liner. The only other mod I did was to cut the firewall for the sub to "vent" into the cab and made a relocating bracket for the rectifier. I was able to get .36cuft internal volume of the box which is perfect for the JL Audio 8W1 or 8W3.
The first pic is looking straight at the woofer with the cubby compartment/cup holder removed.
Thank you.
