Re: ALPINE RZR S system

Relocated factory battery. Yellow Top Optima in RPM box. The complete system is only ran off the Optima, not tapped in to the factory charging system. Optima will be charged at camp when needed.

Charging posts, no need to pull seat. It leaves next week for cage, seats, and 5 pt harnesses.

4g ran through liquitight, secured to frame with adel clamps and pop rivets. Not going anywhere.

Re: ALPINE RZR S system

Since she demanded a 12 inch sub I had her make her own mdf speaker ring jig up the enclosure  for the 12". She did so good, I had her weld in the amp rack and lay the glass for the iPod mount.

Re: ALPINE RZR S system

Looks super.  Keep us informed as it progresses.  BTW, it's great that Andrea has the desire to help you with the project.  My wife wants to ride, but doesn't want anything to do with any of the work.  However, to her benefit, she does take really good care of me and our boys.  Regardless, way to go Andrea!!

Re: ALPINE RZR S system

Does your friend have a sister?  A woman that can form her own stereo molds and weld AND owns a RZR is hard to find.

Re: ALPINE RZR S system

We took our RZR's out for their first trip. We broke them in good, 128 miles in one day from Parker to Lake Havasu and back. Not too bad for her first time behind the wheel of a Side by Side. The girl tore it up.
Now she wants to add a head unit. Pics up soon.
