Tahoe is great, Rubicon trail or just cruising around on fire roads with huge granite boulders everywhere. Don't think there are any redwood trees up there. Lots of pine. As far as the wildlife goes, you might run into a couple of hippies but nothing requiring a firearm. Mostly National Forest there so shoot at what you want. P.S good snowmobiling there too behind Kirkwood ski area. P.S.S SMITH&WESSON never fails!!
