Well after the time spent puttin the exhaust on and ridin around for awhile the other day I'm goin back to stock exhaust...just too loud for ALL around use such as playing and hunting and working.

Havent ran the snorkel hose yet but may just end up moving the entire air box to the front like you are talking about badley

I also plan to build a bolt on/off snorkel for the muffler

My question now is...With the snorkeled air box and snorkeled stock muffler...do yall think I could stick with the larger jet or should i just go back to stock? I am alot lower elevation then you badley and most on the site but lookin for advice from anyone

Thanks for the link and info.

I plan to snorkel the air box to the front like a lot of folks do

Only other question I had was if I were to go back with the stock exhaust along with the snorkeled air box would I need to go to smaller jet or could I leave the larger jet that I have in it now

Thanks
Pete

Installed the Dual HMFs a few weeks ago and just now gettin round to installin the jet kit

Put in a 180 main jet which was recomended by HMF

My main question is...do I need to adjust the Fuel/Air Mix screw which is on the bottom of the carb or just the Idle Mix screw?

If I need to adjust the air/fuel on the bottom of the carb which way do i need to turn it...out/down or in/up?

On my honda foreman I installed a larger main jet (not sure the number) again recomended by HMF and only had to adjust the idle screw and have never had any problems and that was over a year or so ago

Anybody on here today that can offer some quic help?

Thanks alot

Pete

Been lookin around for different front grill guards/bumpers that look good but still protect alot of the front of the rhino

I really like the Bison Front bumper
http://www.onlyatv.com/atventure/166-700WWEBPIC.jpg

However they only list it for the 2007 models...

I own a 2004 model...does anyone know if there is any difference between the 2004 and 2007 model front end frames or mounting points

thanks for the reply

figured thats all it was

Jet kit will be in end of the week and will get that changed as well as K&N Air filter and snorkel the air box like alot folks have to reduce cab noise already have everything else snorkeled

Then fab up snorkel for the duals and have stacks but still be able to use my tilt bed

I just installed the Dual HMF exhaust on my 660 Rhino and left the bed off to do some work.

Finished working for the night last night and drove the rhino about 500 yards to the garage and noticed that where the pipes mount to the engine were glowing cherry red

Friend of mine said its due to not being jetted right and if keep running it with stock jet that it could burn up the piston rings or worse

Called HMF and asked them about it and said that there would be some redness but not just glowing red and suggested I get a jet kit...(will be here later in the week)

Anyone ever notice this before and anyone have any suggestions?

thanks in advance

Pete
