well I will leave all the what can do what alone. I have seem and know what a buggy on 40" tires can do, and watched both try things at almost every location I have gone to for some crawling.
But thanks for bringing this back to my original question.
well if a used rhino is 6-8 and a new one is only like 2K more for a basic one. Why not just get the new then? are the newer rhino's fuel injected?
THanks again for your help. i was going to write off this forum and the group as a whole after mister butt hurt kid's jelousy shined threw and made him come off as a prick. which he prolly still is, I will give him the benifit of the doubt that he was just that...
I know for a fact that I have yet to see anything with the wheelbase or ground clearance to do gatekeeper in calico, or sledge or jack hammer in johnson valley or even johnbull in big bear.
What about the slippery weasel trail :?: or the iron donkey :?:
I sence sarcasim... But if you were on the west coast and a avid off roader, they you should ahve heard of all those. here is a little look into what it takes just to come Down gatekeeper at calico...

YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED
You go with us to Moab this fall and we have people in the group that will wow you with what a side x side can do. We have jeepers often impressed, They are not just a sand buggy to us here in Utah.
I agree that they can be very suprising, but I know for a fact that I have yet to see anything with the wheelbase or ground clearance to do gatekeeper in calico, or sledge or jack hammer in johnson valley or even johnbull in big bear.
what state or even better what city are you in?
Well I was reading around here and on the internet. I own a jeep buggy that for sure is 99% more extream then 99% of all side x sides, and I go places i dont expect the wife to follow at times. BUt on basic trails or in teh hills and such, she wants to look in to a AFFORDable something to enjoy while I do what I do and maybe go everywhere I do on occation.
We are in a tight budget and thinking a quad might be our only option, except we do have a 16yo daughter and a 19mo boy. both of which would be nice to take on occation (one or the other at least), so a quad is out for that.
Looking for help on what a good used (can be old or newer) should cost and which are lower cost yet something meeting basic needs mentioned. Not looking for fast over function. I am a fabricator by trade and can easily add tube or such to bring it up to safety par. but looking for ideas as to affordable models that I can search on for sale sites for. And what I should be looking at $ wise?
Thanks
