I have a Vintage Palomino Mini Jeep Garden Tractor that I am wanting to build a side x side type chassis for. It currently has a tubular frame with no suspension and I will want to build a complete new one so not to damage the original. I have not decided what to use for and engine or rear end but I will decide that as I go on. It has a 20 hp Kohler with a shaft drive 2 speed hydrostatic transmission and that will just not be sufficient. I was told this is the place for suggestions It is heavy steel and is fairly large. The tires on it are normal 23-9.50x12's on a 5/4.5 bolt pattern. If anyone has any photos and or ideas on a good way to go about this build and/or where to find any used parts they would be greatly appreciated. I thought about just looking for a stock UTV chassis but have not started looking.
