take the block of wood, shape it how you want, use liquid nails around the edges, remove the pannel and haveit line-x'd. it looks clean, its cheap and works great.
Not sure on the other years and models, but I have a 2010 ranger xp and removed the air baffling box behind the passenger seat/gas tank. I put in a 2" PVC 90 and clamped it. Not sure what this box does but its empty and has no filters inside. Any idea what this does?
I will also contact my motor guru to see if he has dealt with this rig also. Thank you and I will begin researching them also. let me know what you find out/
Got those in mind already and am not too worried about the warranty stuff. I usually do the work to my toys myself, however they are yamaha's and easy to work on. I guess my question is, I didnt know if factory put stuff on there that restricts or limits things? Can I remove it and what are the reprocussions.
Also, who makes the rear cage that still allows for the dump bed and who makes the rear seat that will attach to the lock and ride system?
Thank you rangerdale, still #1 in my book.
Just baught a 2010 ranger xp and am wondering what to remove first to make it better since factory slowed it down. Suspension? motor? useless junk? Also want to make it faster, put a cage where i can still dump the bed and put a seat in the back. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. thanks
dbl check the throttle positioning sensor on the TB. I have a raptor 700 with a 3mil bore on it and the dyno tech told me that they mark the sensor and remove it when the bore it. then they try to put it back in the same spot but it is never the same. Give it a try.
Does anyone know who makes a mid travel or long travel kit for an 09 Polaris ranger xp? Will it lift it?
