#2 Re: The X Spot » RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL? » 2008-06-22 18:41:01

Your just bent because you spent $11,000 on extras for your Rhino and We spent $11,000 on a Ruesch. Like the other guy said, Yamaha was junk 30 years ago. When was the last time you bought a US made appliance or TV? There's alot of junk out there, but not everything - Ipods, Blackberry, Ruesch.

who is the one that's bent??
I can tell you who will have a bent utv real soon and it ain't me. Yeah, I spent Alot of money on my rhino, probably more than you make in a year, what else you got?  Mine is built like a tank with a brand new rotax 800 vtwin efi with custom ron wood exhaust and intake. makes 65rwhp. so what else ya got??? I smoke rzrs like a black and mild. What else do YOU got?
come back in a year when your shit breaks and you can tell ol maxi your sorry, cause he was right.

Like to see the defensive side, If it breaks, I go out and buy another one and still did not spend as much as you. Face it,
you don't have leg to stand on. You bought and did what you wanted. Don't judge. And about how much I make really has nothing to do with this since your rich and I'm poor. I enjoy off-roading and never put down others when they show up on 1988 CR125's blowin smoke. But I guess there is always people who are better!

you, just like everyone else, went after how much I, Wait I'm sorry that's wrong, The company I own ,spent on a utility vehicle.
let's see, give it to the government, or make a badass machine. Not a tough desicion. It is not the exspensive rhino owners comparing our stuff to a $11,000 chino, it's the other way around and until you admit it, you will get no respect from me.

So why would you want or need to upgrade your Rhino so much?  What was wrong with the stock Rhino?

it was a farm vehicle and I am an abuser that's likes to go fast, I endoed it 3 months after I bought it, It is a utility vehicle and is a company write off. I had it rebuilt like a tank, then found out someone was swaping in a rotax, so, I had it done and I couldn't be happier.

If that video is suppose to show how bad the suspension is, it worked.
The front end on that thing dives into every bump. I'd have to stop and take a piss every 5 minutes of riding with a set-up like that.

here is a real video, with real suspension set-ups, notice the front ends don't ride like yours.

http://www.rhinomayhem.com/

It's going 5mph over those bumps!  A rhino with $4k in long travel parts will do the same.  You guys will find any reason to tear a hole in this XRL wont you?  The suspension is decent, but the shock compression valve did needed to be opened a bit to be a bit softer, it did bounce a bit at slower speeds.  You are comparing the stock XRL to $30k race rhinos.

I wouldn't suggest you buy an XRL and take it out on the track against $30k race Rhinos.  However, you could start with the stock XRL and make some of the same improvements that you would do to a stock Rhino to get it race ready.  It's a good machine, it's durable, looks good and isn't going to break the bank.

In those video's you linked, there are a few Rhinos diving into the ground.  In the Youtube video at 1:22, What does that mean?

I have never seen a rhino with a decent long travel dive in the front like your does, not at 1 m.ph, 5 m.p.h or 50 m.p.h
I would take a kit like that back and tell the fabber to give me my money back.
You aren't convincing anyone that it is a better deal, I would so buy a 450 before a reush, But hey, I'm not trying to sell reush's either, You are, so your going to keep up your sharad to sell some units, like they say, there's one born every minute, you just have to find him. I guarantee your customers are not on the rhino site's though. there at pepboys buying there kids a quad.

this guy is spewing this crap all over the internet
look at it this way, is it bitter rhino owners who have nothing to gain, warning people to not buy junk?
or is it a dealer trying to sell his product and doing everything he can to sell his crap?
I gain NOTHING by telling the truth, he may sell a coffin to one of you. take it for what it's worth.

Max, have you ever even seen one?  Have you driven one?  I have talked to some very knowledgeable people, who fabricate parts for Rhinos, who's job it is to support the UTV industry, some who couldn't care less what people buy and sell, but they all are impressed with the quality and workmanship.

So you are taking it as your duty to warn everybody of the dangers of buying junk?  Seriously?  I posted a response to your in-accurate, misguided, closed minded, attack on products that you know noting about.  There is certainly a lot of crap being created in China, what makes you think this is one of them?  I think some of the insecure Rhino owners have to justify the $18k they spent getting their Rhino built up, by knocking down the $10k equivalent machines.  You have noting to gain by attacking other people's interests, but a year from now, when the Ruesch vehicles are respected and winning races, you will look like the fool.

when that day happens, I'll gladly tell you I was wrong, But it just ain't gonna happen.
Just show up at any race and let's see how it does.
If you came out and said, Here is a cheap version of a rhino, it's slower, less reliable, cheaper made, therefore cheaper priced
you might get some respect, but when all you do is try to tell us how much better it is than a rhino for less money, your just blowin smoke up peoples asses. Be honest about what your doin. I own a business sellin a/c units, and there are cheaper units that provide the same amount of cold air, but there noisy as hell and will die in half the time of a quality one that you have to pay more for. Just the way it works, I didn't make the rules.

#9 Re: Yamaha Rhino Performance Mods » Snowmobile Clutch??? anyone » 2008-06-13 06:32:38

stick with a sheave unless you can afford new belts every 2-3 rides
Unless your racing and have a built motor, which it would take a built motor to hang with a rzr, there is no need for the troubles and added exspenses. wanna kill a rzr, get a rotax

#10 Re: The X Spot » RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL? » 2008-06-06 04:51:21

there chinese pieces of crap that ruesh has made to there specs. For not much more money, you get the tried and tested rhino with the backing of yamaha and a aftermarket that can't be touched.

Might as well get a joyner or a pepboys special. Remeber, you get what you pay for.

I was talking to greg from unleashedutv and he said batteryplus sells a gel battery that is the perfect replacement and has the best price.

Very nice job with the install! What was the hardest part about the install? I would love to see some racing vid of this thing in action with other sidexsides.

You might just get your wish, I got challenged by a rzr to race over new years.

stock rzr  760 cc with 33 rwhp at best
stock rotax  799.9cc with 53 rwhp

he has some clutch and motor work done.
I am getting ron wood free golf and he his working his magic on my motor. lol

I'm impressed. You are flying in that video! Very cool.

I started from the bush and looked down as I passed the camera, I was doin 48 in that short distance, I had it up to 58 down sand hwy with lots left, but being a new motor didn't want to push it yet, I'll get a top speed over new years.

with a ballpark price, how much do you think this whole project cost you?

$7,500  and it's a brand new motor and comes with 3 year warranty.
