I have been on another forum researching this problem and it looks like to be a common problem with this fuel pump. Most of the people linked the problem back to electrical or simply the fuel filter or fuel line pick-up (dirty fuel). The BRP fuel pump is very sensitive to outside electrical sousces and it nneds to be wired directly to the battery with a fused switch. i am pulled all my wiring out last night and am picking up a siwtch tonight and will let you know how it runs. Also, picking up a couple of spare fuel filters.
I ahve the same problem with the same fuel pump!! HAve you found out anything else new?? What did you do to fix yours?? I need some help, i bought the stage 3 performance kit from BRP and new mud lite xtr and can't go riding!!
It sounds like i have the same fuel pump problems. Stalling out at all levels of throttle and kicking back in after its back at idle. I have tried everything and thought it was initially a jetting problem, no the case.
HAs any figured out what the problem is with these pumps? Any input would help as I can't go out riding right now!!
just came across this sight (awesome sight and allot of nice machines!!) when I was loking to find info on a black rhino performance electric fuel pump that i am having allot of problems with. I'm wondering if any one has figured out the problems that have been descibed in other posts about this pump giving up when you push the throtte and not working again until the engine is at idle???
Please help if any of you have info. I want to ride the damn thing since i did a bunch of mods!!
