Weather is going to be perfect which is an exception this time of year. Not a day over 90 deg.  big_smile

Thats awesome! Keep us updated on what you do with them as for as mods and stuff go. A ride report would be great too!

I called my local dealer (small dealer) just to see what the wait is on them and his list is 19 people strong to get one...

#1898 Re: Yamaha Rhino Photo Gallery » New Member/ some fun pics » 2007-06-04 06:28:45

Dave (RMD) and I race up the Valley side of Sand Mnt. all the time! We both have stock tires and we air them down to 3 psi sometimes even less. We can go almost anywhere other than up the Face. Dave even raced a more modded Rhino than his with paddles and beat it over Memorial.

Paddles look cool with the roost and all but untill we are highly modded and find some really light weight paddles nobbies are the way to go. Air pressure is key with them though.

When we hit the sand we drop the pressure down to 3 pounds, sometimes even less. This helps with everything and we can go almost anywhere we want. We go up the vally side of Sand Mountain where other Rhinos don't even get half way because of tire pressure alone. Try it out!

I also got my brackets!  They finally came in last week. I ordered them the first of January...

So none of you slackers are going to this huh?  lol

Thanks for the report on the tires. What air pressure are you running in your tires out in the sand?

#1902 Re: Events, Rallies, & Races » 1st Annual UTV Rally » 2007-05-30 06:30:11

So anyone going to this event? Its just around the corner!

#1903 Re: Yamaha Rhino Photo Gallery » American Fork Canyon » 2007-05-30 06:18:57

Glad to hear that the shop is done!  big_smile

I have not been up AF canyon in a long time. Looks like a great riding spot and I really like the boulder sections. I have not done anything like that yet and crossing the water crossing looks great as well!

How are you liking those tires btw?

#1905 Re: Goin' Riding... Who's with Me? » LIttle Sahara "UTAH" for Memorial Day Weekend » 2007-05-29 13:41:01

We had a great time! It was not as busy as it usually is on Memorial weekend. We stayed at the dunes untill Sunday afternoon and came home so we could head up into the mountains Monday morning on the Rhinos with another forum member from Orem. I will post up some pix tonight!
