If you meet the street legal requirements for Utah but have a valid drivers license (over 16) you could mabey get away with it, having your state license plate too. Cali doesn't have street legal permits yet do they?

Here is the latest info I found since talking to the law officer Saturday at the dunes....

He mentioned to me that soon the law would not require a motorcycle license for street legal ATV's but could not confirm it. I contacted the Utah DMV and this was their reply. big_smile

The police officer was correct as of July 1, 2009 you will only need a driver license to ride a street legal ATV. In the mean time you will need to go to a driver license office nearest you and take an eye and 25 question motorcycle written test. Once you have your permit you can make an appointment to take the riding skills test. When you complete the skills test satisfactory you will get a new driver license with an "M" endorsement and restriction "4" which means you are restricted to riding street legal ATV's only. If you already have an motorcycle endorsement on your license you don't need to do anything, you are already approved to ride street legal ATV's

The clutch sheave is easily installed, takes about an hour. The spring is about another hour and requires some special tools...KRYPTONITE?

Most mount them on the frame going over the top of the radiator. Very clean install and use wire taps so you can go back to stock easily if you ever want to.

I am there!   big_smile  I was hoping all my clutch parts would get here. Bringing out the kids and a couple atvs. Actually got the wife coming too!

I have to be there so the wind doesn't blow this time! lol

#537 Re: Yamaha Rhino Performance Mods » 07 660....wanna move the air intake under the hood » 2009-03-18 07:36:53

ANYTHING works with a big enough saw and hammer. lol

I would have to see the system, the key would be mounting location and try to keep the hose to a minimal length. Recommend mounting or deciding how to mount the intake before doing anything else and make sure the tunnel doesn't poke holes in the tubing roll a lot of water can be sucked through a small hole...FAST! (I KNOW) I have actually turned on a lathe ABS and PVC fittings to make it work if you need help.

badley and I have the same setup. I did find a 08 airbox off of ebay that doubled the air filter size. If you need to you can contact me to take a look.

A half windshield is the best at limiting dust. I have never been able to prevent it either.

I personally would like to take longer rides even if they are not as technical and see more of Moab.  I will be bringing my wife and daughter and will get hung   if I do anything to crazy, or if she has to walk back to camp. roll
