#616 Re: The X Spot » Street legal in UTAH... finally? » 2008-10-12 08:37:54

AYL had a section for being street legal in utah. I will try to watch for it on their website and post the link as soon as it's available. I wouldn't get your hopes up riding on the streets along the Wasatch front anytime soon. sad

MTM products has a large line. I am impressed to see them attempt the seats.

I used to purchase from MTM back east and know they often put you in voice mail and most of the time resolve the issue without contacting the customer back, not the best way of handling the issue. I would try and find a e-mail address and talk to them that way. Anymore most people work best on e-mails to hide emotions.

It's going to be a thing that will be difficult to resolve. I see them legalizing soon in all cities regardless of population or the citizens will license them under someone elses address much like the emmissions and tax issues that use to happen. There are towns within davis county and others that are under the 7500 population but how do you regulate each town without headache? My thought is give it a year or two for them to work the bugs out.

I would expect them to create a law in many cities to incorporate laws on roads and speed zones for the atv market and fines for under age or not "street legal" ats before letting us loose. They should have AIG send them to Arizona on a retreat  lol to figure out how that state does it. I wouldn't get street riding any hope along the Wasatch front for at least 3-5 years, two years ago the UHP told me they would never be street legal until the maanufactures took away the "off road only use" label.

#620 Re: The X Spot » Rzr one year later, wish i still had a yamaha :( » 2008-10-10 07:11:02

HUH! I was ready to buy one for the trails.....NOT! lol

I am looking at a Grizzly in the future for the trails I can't go on, I have to have one for family, one for trails and one for sand. Right? Anyway thanks for the heads up on the Polaris issue and I think we should start a subject on all makes showing their weaknesses such as axles, reverse sensors, protection and so forth to get the attention of the manufactures and create a buyers guide.  :?: IDEA? :?:

#622 Re: Rhino Parts and Accessories » 5 POINT HARNESS? » 2008-10-08 17:44:10

Most don't use the fifth point (crotch belt) but I used a 1/8 x 3/4 x 8" steel and mounted it to my seat and base on my rhino. I would assume you could do the same with the fronst seat bolts of a razor.

#623 Re: Rhino Parts and Accessories » upgrading electrical enhancements too much? » 2008-10-07 15:39:06

I run a set of HID headlights and a 800wt MTX amp. No problem until I need to use the winch then the amp needs to be turned off. I would recommend dual batteries instead. Your stock stator should be able to charge both batteries unless you idle alot. Just a thought.

#624 Re: The X Spot » support? » 2008-10-07 08:05:08

 When a Democrat stands up for my right on those trails I will support them. My rights infringed upon from the great " This land is my land, this land is our land" and leaving "OURS" out of it can go to heck and most likely will imposing their greedy attitude towards others.

I was happy until I had to reply about  this posting!
