My buddy has a Ranger XP 700 he bought new in 2007. He has put 4 drive belts on this thing since he has had it. We do not drive it hard. Up steep hills it is in low as it should be, not a mud bug or running up and down creeks. It is used mainly in open field or dirt or gravel trails in Kentucky. First one was replaced by dealer, second was done by dealer who said a broken mount was the problem and since then it had broken two in the last year! Any ideas? Last one, it broke on me while going down the drive way at low speed, under 20 mph. All motor mounts are good as are the bushings. Any ideas?

If the primary and secondary clutch as well as the motor mount have been checked out then the problem is most likely the engine to transmission alignment. A lot of dealers have no idea how to check this and it requires a special tool to check it and align it. here is the link for the tool but make sure you get the proper tool because there is an EBS and non EBS system. You can also try jarred at www.ruthlessmotorsports.com . There website does not show any support for full size Polaris Rangers but they still may have the tools available...

Four belts on a Ranger is pretty rare. I agree with Dale, there has to be some type of alignment issue that needs to be addressed
