I have a 2011 Ranger 400. The machine has just over 30 hours on it. I noticed yesterday, in the snow here, that some fluid was leaking droplets from a small plastic house under the frame. The hose is about 3/8 to 1/4 inch OD. The hose connects into a white metal housing. I have called my dealer here and still have not heard what the purpose of this drain hose is for, or. connected to..The hose is located mid section of the frame between the end of the seat, and rear wheels. It viewed laying on the ground from the drivers side of the cab. If anyone can tell me what the hose is connected, and if there is a problem there?
Thanks for your reply..

The tanks have a small overflow hose, If the tank was topped off with near freezing fuel, then the exhaust that runs near the tank on at least with the earlier version Ranger Xps, then the fuel could expand expand a little as the tank gets hotter. this may be grasping at straws but could be whats happening here   ....
