Re: Glass windshield

Is anyone using a glass windshield on their Ranger? If so, what's your opinion of it and where can I get one?

Re: Glass windshield

i'have a Rangerware windshield on my XP.   it cost considerably less then Polaris's Lock & Ride plus they have windshield wiper capability (add-on).  it lifts/extends so that you can ride with it fully open.   it can get a bit warm here in desert country and i've considered takin` it off just for the summer months.  but.....since it's soon going to be "street legal" (Oct. 1) i will leave it on.   sometimes there's a glare when riding into the sun which now makes me wonder if i shouldn't put sun-visors and window tint across the top.....

btw....Polaris will push you to purchase their own products but they're the ones that have/sell Rangerware.

I am looking for a front and rear windshield made of safety glass (like a car) for a Polaris Razor, any idea where I should look?

Re: Glass windshield

I got my windshield and back piece from www. fortressatv. com. It has glass in both pieces, they called it d.o.t. safety glass? Not sure what that means but it looks really nice. It doesnt have a windshiled wiper, but they said there is room to install one if Iwanted to.
Hope my post was helpful!
