Re: xp 700 motor rbld.
HI,I am new to the forum and have a motor ?.My 06 xp700 is smoking alot and using oil.I put 80psi of air into one cyl.and it blew oil out of the dipstick tube.Does this mean the rings are shot.Thanks

I hate to say this but yes your engine is shot and needs to be torn down for a rebuild 
.

Can piston rings be installed without pulling the motor and do they make oversize rings?

If it is as bad as you say it is you need to pull the engine because most likely the bores are damaged as well . It sounds like you are past the poor mans rebuild fix on this one :idea: . As for doing it without pulling the engine i never done it and they do make oversize rings for it.....
