Re: Introduce Yourself!

InspectorGadget, keep us posted on your experience with the Xinyang. I haven't seen nor heard much about this machine. Welcome to the forum!

1256750651726148.jpg
My machine arrived Monday evening in GREAT condition, dispite the fact that it came all the way from Texas on an open trailer.  Just a few bugs to wash off.
It is everything that they said and showed on the website, right down to those fancy wheels.
Only 16 miles on it so far as I do not get much time to ride it after work, but the wife and I love it.  Very peppy, but a little noisy in the cockpit while underway.
It has some hopping at about 20mph.  Not sure if it is the tires being out of balance or not properly warmed up and out of round.
The shoulder harness is agrivating, as the spring tension tends to pull the belt tighter against my neck than I would like.
The radio works well, but is only effective when stopped due tho the engine noise.  I haven't put my jump drive in yet to try the MP3.
Service looks to be a nightmare as the engine compartment is very tight.  I can't see how I am going to get the oil filter out of there when it is time to change it.
I'll keep you posted as as issues develop.
All in All a very nice unit.    C-YA  RL   big_smile

Re: Introduce Yourself!

OK,
Here is the latest after reaching 50 miles.
I had a chance to put the machine through its paces this past weekend courtesy of the neighbors and their 2 ATCs.  They invited the wife & I over to ride on their property and we had a blast running around.  I got the feel for the suspension and the throttle response.
Later that evening my grandchildren came over and we got to tear around on our property and the neighbors, for a total of 10 acres of fun trails.
I couldn't believe how good the suspension worked and how sweet the machine handled.
The last ride went to my son-in-law, and by that time I was stoked.  We took 1 corner and we went up on 2 wheels.  WOW the wheels were only a few inches off the ground, but once again the suspension was rock solid and recovery was a non event.
This is the first time I have owned or ridden a 4 wheel indedendent suspension machine---but I sure love it and the way it handles.
WOT the speedo showed 43mph, which is what was advertised.
I would say for the money we have a WINNER!!!!!!
