I just built my snorkels for the belt and intake. I was told to take the fan off the right side of the motor cause water and mud gets in there and stall you out. What does this fan do? and Should i take it off?

I wouldnt take it off it is on there to suck air in to cool the belt. I have herd of problems if you take it off.

Its on the opposite side from the belt. I took it off.

Actually its purpose is to cool down the belt and system. I would suggest to don't take it of or may be just retrofit it.
