The adjustable mounting system and integrated, variable-speed switch make installation a breeze.  Low amperage fans draw as little as .5 amps (yes, less than 1/2 of an amp!) ensuring long hours of warmth without killing your battery.  Made of tough, high-strength nylon 6/6, the housing resists harsh elements and challenging environments.  And, at only three and a half pounds and 5.5" x 5.5" x 9.5" Aqua-Hot Off Road Heaters delivers big heat from a small, lightweight package.

Re: New UTV Heater

I am installing one of these (100CFM). Not sure if it will go in the Rhino or RZR S... probably the Rhino to keep the grandkids warm. Will post some photos, etc. when I get a chance to install.

Re: New UTV Heater

Just got it yesterday. Looked for good mounting location on both RZR S and Rhino... nothing looks promising right now. Real estate on the RZR is limited and the Rhino has better options but will interfere with console. Mounting bracket that comes with it is limiting. Mounting to plastic dash or firewall will allow it to vibrate - only other support will be hoses - probably not a good idea. May have to fab a mounting bracket. Will post some pics of the heater and mounting bracket later.

Re: New UTV Heater

So the heater bracket is only about 1" across (width). I think the bracket is solid and I really like the adjustabilty (angle). The problem is the 1" width - If I mount on the firewall (vertical) of the RZR I think it will vibrate excessively. On the Rhino it could mount under the dash on angled plastic (horizontal) but I still think it would be prone to vibration. I think if the mounting bracket were 3-5" wide it would spread the mounting points (to the plastic firewall) out and create a much more stable mount. Other option would be to use a large backing plate to spread the weight across more plastic. Any thoughts?

The heater is 3/4" hose connections. Rhino use 3/4" radiator hose - so no problem on a rhino. The RZR use 1" hose - If I reduce that to 3/4" to flow through heater, won't that limit the flow of the circulating pump and create a potential problem?

I plan to install a valve to bypass heater in warmer months.
