Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

who is the one that's bent??
I can tell you who will have a bent utv real soon and it ain't me. Yeah, I spent Alot of money on my rhino, probably more than you make in a year, what else you got?  Mine is built like a tank with a brand new rotax 800 vtwin efi with custom ron wood exhaust and intake. makes 65rwhp. so what else ya got??? I smoke rzrs like a black and mild. What else do YOU got?
come back in a year when your shit breaks and you can tell ol maxi your sorry, cause he was right.

Like to see the defensive side, If it breaks, I go out and buy another one and still did not spend as much as you. Face it,
you don't have leg to stand on. You bought and did what you wanted. Don't judge. And about how much I make really has nothing to do with this since your rich and I'm poor. I enjoy off-roading and never put down others when they show up on 1988 CR125's blowin smoke. But I guess there is always people who are better!

you, just like everyone else, went after how much I, Wait I'm sorry that's wrong, The company I own ,spent on a utility vehicle.
let's see, give it to the government, or make a badass machine. Not a tough desicion. It is not the exspensive rhino owners comparing our stuff to a $11,000 chino, it's the other way around and until you admit it, you will get no respect from me.

Hope the IRS doesn't read this!

Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

I came to this forum to see if there was any info on the Ruesch and all I can is more bickering about what's better.  I would like to know what the long term results have been.  How are the Ruesch UTVs holding up, what problems if any have you had, hows the overall quality i.e. fit and finish?  Has it been a good or bad investment?  If you've had any problems how has Ruesch addressed the issues?

I know this alot of questions but Im needing information?

Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

You pay for what you get.

Yamaha has been around for a long time and has plenty of trust worthy machines out. If some other company needs to copy yamaha and slap on some differant plastic and call it their own and sell it for less then thats what you get, a Rhino built by a cheep shity  company who cant come up with their own machine so they take it from someone else. I would rather spend the extra money and get a yamaha anyday. if someone else wants a cheaper knock off then more power to them, Just dont get pissed off when you have to get towed home by a Yahama, Polaris, Kawaski, Arctic Cat or Honda.  Remember you bought the cheaper machine, personly i would be embarrassed as hell to own a knock off.

Copy cats should be shot.

Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

WHATS UP GUYS? I AM FROM FRESNO, CA AND I HAVE A 2007 RHINO THATS HAS OVER $30,000.00 INTO IT. I WAS LOOKING TO BUY ANOTHER ONE. WE GO TO PISMO BEACH EVERY MONTH TO RIDE SO I WANTED TO GET ANOTHER ONE. SO I STARTED LOOKING EVERY WHERE AND I FOUND A WEBSITE CALLED RUESCHMOTORCOMPANY.COM AND LOOKED INTO THE MACHINES THEY SELL. LOOK GREAT ON PAPER SO I STARTED LOOKING INTO THEM, SOME FORUMS SAID CHINA JUNK SOME SAID REAL DEAL.. SO I WENT TO UTAH TO LOOK AT THEM AND DRIVE THEM. I DROVE IT, RACED IT, FLIPPED IT AND LOVED IT. I RACED THIS MACHINE AGIANST A STOCK RHINO AND WE WHERE SIDE BY SIDE FOR THE FIRST 50 YARDS THEN I WALKED AWAY FROM IT. I GOT IT UP TO 48 MPH AND RAN OUT OF ROAD.(IT HAD MORE TO GIVE) SO THOSE OF YOU YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY A NEW MACHINE WAIT FOR THE RUESCH AND GIVE IT A TRY. WELL WORTH THE WAIT.. LETS FACE IT I HAVE A RHINO AND 90% OF MY PARTS ON IT SAY "MADE IN CHINA" GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDITS DUE!!! THE MOTOR IS A CFMOTO MAID IN THE US. THIS MACHINE WILL OUTSELL ANY OTHER MACHINE ON THE MARKET I PROMISE YOU THAT. IF ANY OF YOU GUYS GO TO PISMO BEACH HIT ME UP IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT OR YOU WANT TO GET SMOKED..LOL tongue

Well i decided to look at this post when i heard about it on the Polaris site and after reading this guys post the first thing needed is to show this guy how to use the shift key  lol . Anyway from what i see here is that i am not very impressed if a bone stock rhino kept up with it for the first 50 yards and only hit 48 mph even though it had a little more to give  . Anyway till i see one for real and see how well it is put together and more info on reliability I will stick with my almost full American UTVs  lol .

Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

I know :!: . The 2007 to 2009 Ranger Xp topped out stock at 50 to 51 mph and the RZR in 2008 at 55 and with the limiter bushing removed around 60+ MPH. The 2009 RZRs at 63+ MPH stock. I think he may have already lost his ride or it is in the junk yard or repair shop  lol  lol .

Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

I HAVE A 2008 XRL FOUR SEATER. It was the one that Fox shocks used at Pismo beach for dialing in their settings on their shocks. It was jumped in the dunes, and ran down the whoops all weekend long.Since then it has been to Pismo 3 more times and ran almost every weekend here on my property. The only issue I have had is the servo motor for the front diff burnt up,nd it is a problem that yamaha rhinos have had also according to another forum I'm on.I fixed the problem by eliminating the servo motor and modifying it to a cable shift like the Kawasaki Teyrex.I haven't had any other problems with it,it starts right up every time.I have rejetted the carb with a dynojet kit for a 660 rhino, deleted the stock airbox and replaced it with TDH racings filter and intake. It gained alot more power and top end speed.I will soon do the clutch sheave as do most rhino owners to gain a little more low and top end performance. I have ordered parts(accessories) directly from the company and received them fedex within a couple days,no problems. For anyone that bashes the name and being made in China, all I can say is if you actually see one and be around one for the weekend to see it will go and do anything a rhino will you would be surprised. These motors do pretty damn good for being 160cc smaller than the 660 rival. The frame and suspension seems to be holding up just fine. And beleive me this has been jumped, I have a motocross track on my property.the suspension works great!!

I am not a dealer!!! I just want to give some info for people that are curious. I like mine, along with all my friends the go with us on our trips. we are going to Jawbone Canyon for new years if anyone wants to check it out. money well spent in my opinion,my $.02

Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

Nice to hear some feedback from a Ruesch owner - thanks for the report. I have been curious, but it is always dealers weighing in. All machines will have some problems. It is good to know Ruesch taking care of you.

Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

Unfortunately there aren't that many out there as with rhinos. But I have talked to another owner and he is satisfied with his also. The ones that are out there the owners are keeping them for what must be a good reason since there aren't any for sale (used). I know my uncle and a couple of my friends would buy one! I picked mine up for $7,500. You can't go wrong for that price. I will say that a rhino does have a better take off speed but the ruesch has a different ratio in gearing. My buddy has a 660 that is completely stock motor but has a full race cage and it won't hit 50mph downhill. With just the carb tuned right and aftermarket filter I hit 51 mphon flat ground according to gps. My low gear will do 42mph on the flats. He said his rhino will only go around 25 mph in low if I remember right. Could be wrong on that but I remember it was a big difference. I am in no way a basher on yamaha or any other Utv I'm just speaking of what I have and what my buddy has. Thanks for being open minded and not bashing cuz it's not a yamaha!

Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

just clocked another 120 miles last week in Mojave.I only had 2 minor issues with the Ruesch.
First, was one of the oil cooler lines liisened up and dripped a couple drops of oil on the frame(yea big deal). took about a half minute to fix.
Second, was I was running down some whoops and actually hit a pretty big hole with the left front tire and bent a tie rod(driver error).
overall it did really good, motor ran great, climbed hills no problem, traveled two hours at 35-50mph with no problems. dusty visibility conditions would be my only complaint about the whole trip, and i can't blame that on Ruesch. So far it's still thums up  big_smile

Re: RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL?

http://www.rueschmotorcompany.com/video.html

You guys got me interested in looking at these things.
I didn’t know if this is the machine you are talking about, but DAMN that monster in the video looks Pissed off!

I have about a million questions that would need to be answered, but I think I want one!

Update...
(I like the video that plays after the first one, the guy talking explains several of my questions.
I like what I see so far...)
