Re: Progressive 425 shocks

Has anyone tried these? I am looking for a better than stock shock but don't want to pay to much due to the future of my rhino. They do look like a good shock for the money.

Re: Progressive 425 shocks

Most likely the four. I will keep my rhino for the mud, plowing etc. but have the R4 for the sand and camping trips.

I love my Rhino to much to pawn off, too many memories and time invested. smile

It will be good to have the rhino when the rzr breaks down too, something has to pull it back haha.

Re: Progressive 425 shocks

I will give you a call tomorrow with some info and pricing. I do not have any customers currently running this shock to get feedback from. However, I will give you a great deal on a set for you to give us all some feedback on if you are interested.  big_smile

Re: Progressive 425 shocks

Ryan I had a set on my Rhino when they first came out and they are a great shock for the price. Great compromise between the stock shocks and more expensive options, you can pick up a set of 4 for a little over $600.

Re: Progressive 425 shocks

Shocks arrived today for the back. Comparing them they are about 3/8 wider overall and same eye to eye. I gained over 1'ride height after installation.

Now time to tune them this weekend!  big_smile

They look even better with the Muzzy exhaust, both available through Ruthless motorsports! big_smile

Re: Progressive 425 shocks

Iv had these shocks on my rhino for about a year and they work great. You'll notice when hitting square edges and sharp hits that the compression and rebound soak up a great amount of the hit. I have a snow plow that i use in the winter for the rhino and they can take a great deal of load and still have nice spring stroke. Great if your on a budget.

Enjoy

Hard to say, I never had anything but the stocks without reseviors but I am very impressed with these compared to stock. For the price I would recommend them to anyone not wanting to invest in the real expensive ones.
