My name is Billy and it's my first post. Hello to all. I do not own a UTV...yet. This is why I'm here. I am currently in the process of gaining as much information about all of the various UTVs out there. What I'm looking for is a street legal UTV that has enough power to get up some hills. I live in Puerto Rico (two directions here...up or down). All they sell here is what is called "Supermach" which I believe is a no-name brand of UTV. I need something to get me around town (speed limit is 25 everywhere) to go check the surf etc. I'm basically looking for practical and reliable not so much "off road" Some things I saw were the Polaris Ranger XP or Crew, and the Honda Big Red....I like the Fuel Injection models. Just wondering what people thought out there?????
Thanks again.
Billy

I did check it out. They do not have a review on "supermach". I was just trying to get some peoples personal experiences on various UTVs. Nor does the site have a review on the Polaris Ranger Crew.

Personaly I like my Yamaha Rhino, It has great power good ride and has not had any problems. It is sporty enuf to be able to go out and play but still has a big enuf bed in the back to do work. The 700 EFI has plenty of power and it has a top speed of 40mph.
To me it is the best of both worlds. (work/play).
There are tons of aftermarket parts for the Rhino including kits to make them street legal.
I would stay away from no name brand UTVs. You never know how long the company will be in business and if parts will always be available.

I agree with Titan. If you need more utility (hauling capacity) go with the Ranger. Some of the na-names claim that Rhino parts are interchangeable, I believe that is true for frame and suspension but not the motor. Rhino has the longest track record and biggest aftermarket.

Does the Rhino have a 4 seater...I have not found one yet. I have two children and one on the way. I've heard that you can convert a two seater into a 4 seater however, it will no longer comply with federal regulations alowing it to be street legal. Street legal is more important to me, as well as a smooth ride. Most of the time it will be on pavement, doing earins around town.

Laws being an issue your only good choices are a Razor4 or the Ranger crew. Either I would have long before a Chinese import that might be gone tomorrow. :?
Are we camping yet?
