Hey Guys Im new to the forum as I just bought a 2010 Ranger 400. I purchased a full plastic general purpose windshield with the sports roof. I put everything on and its great but I plan on transporting this thing back and forth from the lease during the off season of deer season. I didnt notice any disclaimer or warning of transporting with windshield on (possibly causing windshield to cave in). I understand it increases drag and I would prefer not to transport it with it on but its time consuming to take on and off.
Do any of yall have any suggestions or concerns on transporting with windshield or not? Are there any quick disconnects out there for easier on/off?
Any advice would me much appreciated. Thanks
Andy

I have transported my Rhino at 65mph with a polycarbonate (lexan) windshield on and it has not bothered yet.
Just try it out and go slow at first and see how it acts at speed, You should be safe at 45mph because most UTVs go atleast 40mph and I would be shocked if a company built a windshield that couldnt handle the top speed of the machine it was built for.
Yes there are companys out there that build windshields that come off quick. I can strip my full cab (roof, windshield, rear window and doors) off my Rhino in under 1 minute. http://curtisindustries.net/PolarisRanger/
