Re: New Razr owner with problems

I just bought a used 08 with 60hrs on it. I took it for a ride and rolled it once on the right side and once on the left side. After I rolled it on the left side it wont right now. It starts up, put if i take my foot off the gas it boggs down and stalls. I have never worked on this machine before, where should I start checking to try to correct this problem?

Re: New Razr owner with problems

Sorry  , i some how missed this one when you posted it a few days ago. I don't fully understand your post but is there any damage to the fuel tank or the rzr itself  :?: . I would start with checking the fuel pressure and make sure it is around 39 psi at idle. If it is not then you may have shaken up junk in the fuel tank and plugged the primary filter in the tank. It also could be the pump its self and or the external filter. If that is all good then it could be the TPS and in some cases the Tmap/Tbap sensor which may have been contaminated with oil on the roll over. Pull the intake boot and remove the sensor and clean it with only CRC Mass air sensor cleaner http://www.crcindustries.com/files/19965_1.PDF . For the tps sensor if you do a search for TPS sensor i have posted it many times and it is here somewhere  roll . Good Luck.....

Welcome to the forum mrwizardd83 ! Now if you endo you will have it figured out  lol  Sorry, couldn't resist  wink
Did you get it running? What was the issue? Rolled mine on the right - it smoked for a minute, but has been fine ever since.

Re: New Razr owner with problems

They do make a 3 inch lift kit. I have one on my 2010 Rzr. It has 27 miles on it and it looks like I am taking it off. My kit will be for sale soon. Let me know if you have an interest.

Re: New Razr owner with problems

66 Cummins you asked  "why are you taking it off?"

I have just become diagnosed by my wife with a new disease called "modicideas", which she is concerned will have a direct impact on her shopping activities!!!

I have decided to put a different suspension under my Rzr and the lift kit will not be needed an longer. By the way, I had a lift kit on my 2008 which I rode 2860 miles and never tipped it over. I really liked how it worked and did get me up so I could go over the bigger rocks in the trail.
