Re: Have most of you had a positive experience with Polaris?

Hello all, as my name shows I am looking to buy a SxS sometime in the next month or 2. I know the ups and downs of what Rhino's, RZR's, Prowlers Etc....... are capable of. There are always those who only drive this or that....example..Chevy or Ford. I have had experience with Yamaha and had good dealings with them. I was wondering if the majority of you have had the same with Polaris. I have never owned one and never dealt with the company. I would just like some honest input on this and not get into bashing machines smile Thank you all so much in advance.

My experience with Polaris products have always been good. The local dealer works very hard on customer service. I would buy another one.

Re: Have most of you had a positive experience with Polaris?

I have owned a rhino since 04. It has been a great machine. I just bought a rzr s in december and I am very impressed. I bought it from a private party so I really have no dealings with the company. I wouldn't hesitate to buy and deal with them at all, just research the dealer...

Re: Have most of you had a positive experience with Polaris?

I do need to add one thing, I do all my own work on the ranger and all my stuff as well as other peoples UTVs. I have not had to deal with the dealer on warranty issues because nothing ever went wrong with mine during that time period but I have had to deal with the dealerships in my area on parts in the past and I have to say they never stock anything and have to always order it. for that reason I do not deal with the dealerships anymore. I have had in depth conversations with there mechanics and they really don't seem very knowledgeable about the product or known issues. I think one of the reasons is all the dealers in my area also are Yamaha and Kawasaki dealers as well and there is a lack of training.

As for parts I do my own ordering on these UTVs from other sources and have them shipped to me direct. I do not use the dealerships at all anymore. This also goes for my trucks and cars as well...

I have heard of some people that have had good luck with some good dealerships and I have heard about horror stories of others but that cold happen with any product roll  .

My experience has been super...I'd buy another.  For those considering a Polaris purchase, I'd say spend a little time researching the RZR/Ranger, spend a bunch of time researching  for a respectable dealer.

I agree! Like Dale/Titan I prefer to do my own maintenance and repairs on my machines. Evey time I take something to a dealer I feel like I paid too much and I wonder if work was performed correctly and all the bolts tightened. I have a list...

Re: Have most of you had a positive experience with Polaris?

I am a new owner ( 2 months) of a 2008 Rzr and been riding twice with it in eastern Ohio and Tennessee.    I also have a 2006 Arctic Cat 500 with about 1500 miles.  I like them both and take both when I ride, but the rzr is pretty sweet!!!
