hey guys, just installed my new clutch sheave. I already have cdi box and all filters and some carb work. at 50 this bitch sounded like it was gonna explode before sheave!!! now with family (4) of us it runs 56 on 26 inch tires and souds like its purring like a kitten. A must have for any serious riders who want more speed and longevity from their motor. I do recomend at least cdi though with it for optimum performance at low buck price!! check out Lioncart.com

yeah, sheave's are awesome. Just watch out running those 50+ speeds for to long. the rhino valves aren't meant for that.

The sheave just allows you to get to those speeds, it's the transmission that's not winding out now. The stock valves are not made to run at high speeds for to long. You should back down after a few minutes of 50+ or you will burn them up. Or get some heavy duty valves and springs.

Thats some really good info max I hadnt thought of that.

I would bet that if you checked it out, you would find that the valves are the exact same as the Raptor. Valve springs might have a different rating.
Raptor part numbers
Intake Valve # 3YF-12111-00-00
Exhaust Valve # 3YF-12121-00-00
Inter Valve Spring # 5LP-12113-00-00
Outer Valve Spring # 5LP-12114-00-00
I don't have the ones for the Rhino
'02 Duramax
'07 Rhino Sport
'01 Raptor
'99 Air Stream

Just had a cdi box and sheave put in my new Rhino also. At 56 mph my engine is doing 6250 RPMs. The service boys put a tach on it as they were also concerned about the RPMs, not anymore!!
