Re: Rhino Nitrous

Hey guys I have been thinking seriously about throwing Nitrous on my rhino!!

Buddy said NitrousDirect.com really knows their stuff...These guys seem to have some good Rhino Nitrous

What do you think has anyone done that before? I noticed they have bigger bottles, even polished ones too.. I might go that route..anyone had good luck or bad luck with nos on their utv?

Re: Rhino Nitrous

I have some friends in Idaho that have nitrous on a Rhino. I will see if I can get them to chime in a little on this subject...

It can be done and seems to have a nice increase.

What kind of riding do you do?

It is a pretty good gain I will tri to find the slips from the last 300' race it won its class against built supercharged rhinos.

Re: Rhino Nitrous

Hey brindley, welcome to the forum!

Can you provide some more details on your NOS setup. I'm curious, and I'm sure others are too, how the NOS systems install on the Yamaha Rhino? Is it a simple installation?  Do you have to do any other mods to your motor if you are running Nitrous? What kinda performance gains are you seeing with your setup?

Congrats on the 300' race win!

Re: Rhino Nitrous

no no other mods are needed,  The install is fairly easy and anybody with a little bit of mechanical ability could do it in less than 2 hrs.. Hardest part is determining were you want ot place the bottle etc.  we usually run a 12hp shot, kryptonite seen what it does at dumont I dont remember lengths but it was no secret after that.
at the 300 ft races we ran  a 30hp shot.
we like it because it is simple works and its there when you need it and stock when you dont.

Make sure you report back after you blow your stock motor.

I actually just saw a rhino with this kit that was slower than stock, couldn't idle and already cracked the gibson exhaust. I think it needs more work to be worthwhile.
