I have always dreamed of a shop and some property and a house on it. The one i thought about for the shop would be something like yours except one bay would be drive through for 5th wheel storage. It would also include one of these in it.....

Maybe someday if the world changes for the better ...

After a week of rain things are back on track. The roof is almost ready for the steel company, electrical is going in, floor in two weeks and insulation in three weeks.

The problem with my new garage is that it is already to small. :?
Some how I have to fit these two mosters a Jeep and a 1ton gmc dump truck in it
and still have room left for 4 ATVs, motorcycle, jetski, snowmachine and a Rhino

So Im already planning a shed roof off the back to put the excavator and man lift under

Roof is on, finaly no more rain days.

Insulating matt, heat tubes and rebar layed down waiting for concrete.

Radiant is the way to go. I have the infrared heat tubes suspended in my shop and love that the floors are always dry and warm.

The garage is looking great. There is nothing like having a nice comfortable area to work on and store the toys without being cramped. Congrats and keep the pictures coming!!

The floor was done a few weeks back and the electrical was all roughed in.

Got spary foam insulation done last week, took 3 days, walls have 8 inches and ceilings have 12inches.

The carpenter couldnt keep me from putting stuff inside when is started snowing.
Built a stand to hold the hot water tank above the well tank to save a little room. All the heating fits in one corner. It has taken over 50 hours to warm up a 9 inch thick concrete slab from 30*F to 70*F

Straping the walls and adding plastic sheeting then covering all the walls and ceilings with steel sideing, NO SHEETROCK

Almost got the four lids to the pit done, one left to weld together. 2 X 2 X 1/4 inch square tube with 1/4 plate.

Doors got done this week with industrial openers and chain hoist back up. middle door track goes to the ceiling in the middle bay to allow for full use ot the 18 feet of height.

Maybe Moab next year, still got way to much to do here and snow is on the way, got driveways to plow for other people.

Next step is to finish the walls and ceiling and build the bench. Then I can go get a new flat screen tv. :twisted:
