You could tell who has them and who doesn't by the aluminum fragments in the rock :shock: . UHMW is 10x harder than carbon steel. I only have rub marks in mine after two trips to Moab .

You are correct! UHMW is the only way to go! We sell all different types of skid plate systems made out of many fifferent things and belive me UHMW is where its at.
