I have a 2006 polaris ranger 700xp. The neutral and low range icons do not appear on the speedometer when in those gears. Also when I select one of those gears, the 4 wheel drive will disengage. any ideas on problem.

Have you looked at you linkage to make sure it isnt worn? My not be fully engaging I would think.

I agree, maybe linkage problem - try adjusting.

My RZR is doing the exact same thing.  :evil:  Need to check it out this week. I will keep ya posted on what I find out.

one of my rzr was doing the same thing. there is a wire by the battery that had lost connection.easy fix

Check the linkage adjustment first. If that is good then it could be the contactor switch on the transmission that tells the ecm what state the transmission is in. If that is good then it could be a defective ECM. It controls all the indicator lights as well as the AWD system. 2006 and older have this module and 2007 and latter went with a different system. Also check and clean all the contact connectors from the transmission switch to the ECM and all grounds....
