Cant go wrong with the RZR 4! Sometimes I wonder why I just dont buy another one and sell my teryx, rhino and "S". It makes everything look real easy.

I think Baley's just excited about filling the extra spot in his big trailer. But then I'm also waiting on the news! ronk
Busted  Trailer will hold a RZR 4 in addition to the S
After rolling the S in St. George yesterday, Jana is thinking the 4 is a winner.
DO IT!
It's only money, and you only go around once!

I just want a solid machine that won't break when I use it offroad. Polaris needs to focus on a reliable powertrain that won't fail before adding more power to it.
You're being a little tough on old Polaris aren't you?
I vaguely recall a certain Rhino that left us all in the lurch...
Even with almost double stock horsepower, my RZR has been extremely reliable over the entire 4,000 miles I have owned it. I think Polaris already has a solid machine, even for those of us who add more power!
With few exceptions, I think they got it right in stock form. Even my plastic Sprag was in perfect condition after 4,000 miles. (Although using plastic on a part for that purpose is a little cheap)
Look at it this way, the terrain we have here is some of the most challenging in the world. The vast majority of SxSs will never see the kind of abuse we can easily dish out in an afternoon in Moab. Even the Can-Am (A very well engineered machine in my opinion) broke the steering rack on its first trip down there!
When we take our machines out and climb vertical walls, we are bound to break parts.
No company is going to be able to build a machine that will handle absolutely everything we can dish out, especially for $10 to $15K
These things are built for the masses. If you or I decide that Rock Crawling or full throttle jump landings are our thing, we have the aftermarket to help with the weak links that we will inevitably find.

Yea I am being hard on them but I do think polaris has one of the best machines out there for the sport market, however I still have a love for the rhino for plowing three winters of snow and toting around a family of four in it. I gave the cylinder a drink of muddy water, bent the rear frame jumping with about 800 lbs of human in it. It had some engine flaws but not those of Polaris.
We put these things in places that are more brutal than the dunes or mud. That is one of the reasons for buying the extended warranty cause I know if it doesn't fail on it's own I will break it. It was the rzr4 that honestly made me decide to jump over to Polaris, if yamaha could have produced it with a larger motor I would have looked there first. I am excited to see what's next.
Are we camping yet?

"800 pounds of human"
Now that is just damn funny!

The comment is more funny when you had to watch them get in back of the rhino.
